Every Cane fan knows what that asterisk is for. Since this is the teams' first meeting since that debacle, I wonder how many times that horrid call will be replayed? If you've ever won a game in your history before, Miami, please...now would be the best time.

The worst call in a big game EVER.
"There he goes, one of Gods own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die"
Somebody please beat Ohio State.
Canes have a shot. It matters if Harris plays well. He can't turn it over in the Shoe and expect to win. They also have to stop the run. If those two things happen. I like their chances.
"Players win games. Teams win championships."
I'll tell you guys one thing that if effective could win this game for Miami, and I know a lot of you didn't really see it since the FAMU game wasn't on national TV...Whipple has instituted a no-huddle offense coming out of the spread. Miami got 3 really quick & efficient drives on that offensive mindset and look, and they looked like a well oiled machine the whole way. Jacory was picking out the open man and getting him the ball.
Miami's whole offense has enough talent to where if you're off balance to begin with, you're going to have to make one helluva play to get back to cover against that no-huddle. I'd like to see us do that for about the whole game as I'd wager our guys are in better shape than tOSU*'s. I'll take my chances being aggressive and putting our guys in the position of beeing the aggressor as opposed to letting the D dictate what you can/can't do like we have in some years past.

We put pressure on Pryor and stop the run and we win.
